Map Shows Clues About The ''Lost Colony'' of Roanaoke

A map named "La Virginea Pars" painted by explorer John White between 1585-1586 shows a patch stuck to the map which could be a clue to understand what happened to the Roanoke settlement which disappeared after White sailed back to England.

This Google map shows what could well be the current location of a previously unknown settlement, that could have been used by the colonists after abandoning Roanaoke Island. Click for larger map and directions to the Location of Roanoke´s Lost Colony.
